2008年夏天，应离异父亲的要求，8岁的男孩陈文辉来到香港。在不算宽敞的公寓里，陈文辉和生疏的父亲，以及素未谋面的父亲的女友共度了几日的时光。陈文辉即将返回内地，父子之间各自有着想说的话，但却不知如何开口。In the summer of 2008, an 8-year-old boy visits his estranged father to apply for a permanent identity card. As the visit comes to an end, they find it increasingly difficult to ask what they want from each other.
